Toowoomba to Brisbane Passenger Train Campaign

Kicked off in 2007, the campaign is back again!

With 457 signitures on the 'gopetition' website we are moving this petition into more action!

Letter Writing: We have been in contact with our State Transport minister and local ministers.

• The Outcome: Train to be in place by 2026. By then the climate crisis will have gone too far, and our planet will be suffering from the devestating effects of climate chage. We need action now. Not in 20 years' time!
• We will need your support if we are to make this happen! We are putting together 'pro-forma' letters to the relevant Minister and Premier Bligh, so you can take this matter to them yourself!

'Toowoomba city along with South East Queensland is growing at a great rate and because of this, there needs to be an extension of transport services. As a result of mass automobile transport between Toowoomba and Brisbane, there is a large contribution to climate change, through carbon emissions'
